Here are a few teaser shots of more recent developments: Bleak DesolationRoaming the BadlandsThese images show the diverse and sometimes harsh nature of this future world: not all sunshine, oceans and palm trees. We'll have more teasers to come.

Glad u like the shots, early days yet of course, but this is the kind of visual quality that we'll be aiming for. All the textures are from photographs, some local from near my hut but a lot of the best ones are from cgtextures.com
Having trouble making them seamless? There are apps that will do it, but manually is always better results with less blur.
Assuming you are using PS or PSP or something similar where you can move layers about there is a very easy method which takes about 5 minutes and gives perfect results. If I get a sec I should write a tute for BZ2MD, its not a hard process but there's a few steps.

The important step is cutting the tex in half then swapping the sides...
1: Crop image to get a square section of the tex u want to tile. Try and work as large as you can then resize it down later.
2: Duplicate the layer, then move a copy half off screen to the right, and one copy to the left so they meet in the centre.
3: If you then crop the image you get edges that'll tile at the sides but a big seam in the middle. Stretch each side a touch so they are overlapping, then it's usually pretty easy to selectively erase the seam edge on the top layer - erase it carefully to blend with layer underneath leaving no visible lines.
4: Once seam is gone, merge the 2 layers. Your tex will now tile horizontally.
5: Next repeat steps 2 -4 but vertically.
6: you should now have something seamless on all edges - if you need to clean up sections in the middle then u can just clone or paste in bits of the original texture to mask problem areas, main thing is that the edges tile.

Yea that's what I do with MS paint. I also take 6 meg pictures of the road and stuff to get my textures, it's just that when I flip them so that all the sides will fit togeather it looks like its was a mirror, like SUPER obvious that its was flipped and rotated and stuff.

You shouldn't have to flip anything...
