First off, I would like to commend you guys for all the hard work you have put in this far. BS-er this has come a long way from the old Proxima Rebellion demos you had created years ago.

After watching M.A.D. grow from its first public announcement I am glad to see what it has become so far, I had installed the beta release the other night to finally see for myself and I must say that I am quite impressed as to where this project is going. After hopping in and checking out the training mission I find I am introduced to the games aesthetically pleasing atmosphere right off the bat. The terrain looks wonderful and fora blends in perfectly. Lizard's model work is as always at top notch quality and even at an early beta stage the image of creativity and professionalism is ever prevalant.
The game physics are well done, I found both the ATV and the Hellcat to be quite fun to pilot (With a few tweaks in the option here and though, although there is much flexability for the player to change to their taste) and the other AI controlled vehicles are well executed and lethal. There are a few quirks with the AI in that in large groups they tend to collide with one another on occasion but only minorly at most.
The gameplay is very well done and certainly provides a comfortable play atmosphere for those familure with the BZ series

Even with just the simple IA missions provided with the release the play style has the potention to provide somethign unique to bring to the table with today's games.
Overall, my only real gripes with the current setup is the lack of a TLI indicator on the HUD as I had always found that useful in BZ, and I'm not too keen on only being confined within one vehicles for the entire mission, especially with the range of well crafted units in the game. Despite this M.A.D. appears to have the ability to bring something new to the table again.
