Hi everybody.

Sorry for bumping an old topic, but I have to say that infantry are actually quite easy to make.

Recently I was testing out a new pilot in Bz2 that seemed to work fine with a tilting head, and it took me all of 2 hours to make from scratch
using just 3dsmax and notepad.

Although it may be more difficult with your engine... I don't know.

Easy maybe...but all those animations and usage has to be coded by BSer. Cheesy He's not using a game kit, but his own code. Smiley

Yea, people tend to use bone animations to be fluid and easily morphable depending on what is happening, you do not need those requirements for vehicles since they are 'stiff'.  BZ2 pilots are actually like vehicles as well, very restrictive, he could always do it like that with little work (if any, same code as vehicles), but it is ugly as sin in this day and age...

One question; will this game be as moddable as Bz2?? If so, I will probably make a mod for it.

BSer is the programmer, and he mostly dealt with AI previously, so yes.
