The first video trailer for Machines, Anarchy and Destruction is now available in the Videos section.  This trailer showcases some of the intense combat action of this game, and shows off a few of the ground-based and aerial vehicles.

Look at bzuniverse.com.  I believe there is a link there.

Just a heads up.  The video may fail to play in Windows Media Player.  It did for me.  I had to use Media Player Classic to do more than listen to the audio since that's all WMP would do.

I'm not sure why there is a problem with the video and Windows media player.  The file may have a glitch that it doesn't like but is not an issue with other players.  It may be related to hardware acceleration as well.

I'm amazed at what a pile of crap Windows media player seems to be, especially the latest one.  We should expect better from a company that has gross profits of $500000 per employee.

If they got direct x working on linux, I'd jump ship in a heart beat.  Especially with how MicroSh*t changed the eula and the activation policy for vista.

I certainly won't be making the change to vista, I'll wait until XP outlives it's usefulness before moving to something new.

Windows XP SP2 is very stable to me and I don't see no big advantage of switching over to Vista. I also don't like the fact that Vista wants atleast a GB of RAM when I can get XP to run happily on 256 MB.

Just saw the video and I am quite impressed at the view distance and how the ai vehicles handled, so close together and with not obvious problems. Very nice.
Loved how the vehicles caught some (not too much) air over bumps. Must be great feeling.
Are the helicopters following the landscape (like BZ2 hovercraft) or are they actually just maintaining height and would crash into mountains?

VERY SLICK STUFF! Can't wait to buy my copy just to support you guys.

nice to see you here fishy Smiley .

I think the helicopters just follow the terrain at the moment, they are still in a very early stage of development so this may well change, the vehicles bunching up is another issue we intend to address further down the road.

the tanks have a nice fun feel to them and the AI is pretty smart already so things are shaping up to be quite enjoyable.

our scheduled release date is currently set for march 2009 so that gives you plenty of time to save up ...  Grin

Somehow I've always felt crashing was always a key part to helicopters.... Frequently helicopters are some of the most powerful vehicles, yet some of the hardest to fly.

You always got that feeling of dread when you heard the rotor blades of the Apache in Desert Combat...
